Canned December 10th.

Pours a clear pale gold with a good long lasting head of foam.

Smells sweet, malty, some fresh baked bread. No hints of bitterness.

It's all malty in the taste as well. Bready, caramel, from start to finish. Very consistent flavours. True to style...

Good smooth mouthfeel.

A nice break from the hoppy.

Taste can be muted if keg has been tapped for awhile in my experience.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color but has some fine particulates that are visible floating in suspension. It poured with a short bright white head that gradually died down but never completely faded away, leaving a patch of bubbles that covered about half of the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of artificial vanilla are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste follows the smell and has a heavy dose of artificial-like vanilla flavors along with hints of corn and a bit of sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an easy drinking cream ale that has a nice amount of smoothness along with a good dose of vanilla to prevent it from being bland.

Pours very creamy and light on nitro. Had from brewery.
Very little alcohol taste even at 6.7%
A great beer for a refreshing afternoon.

L: Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a very creamy head and quite a few fingers of lacing, definitely served on nitro.

S: Mellow vanilla, blends with sweet grain and a little bit of light lemon.

T: Mellow vanilla, mixed with toasted sweet grain and a light lemon.

F: A little watery but still feels creamy.

O: Wish the vanilla was a little more evident but still a tasty cream ale.

Fantastic smell and taste. This beer was a big surprise at Union Station in Denver. With the nitro stout the feel is fantastic and the flavor does not disappoint. Highly recommend this beer!

Poured on nitro.

Pours yellow with a frothy white head. Smells and tastes like a vanilla creamsicle. Real vanilla here, no extract. There is the slightest amount of hops to allow you to notice them, which help cut into the sweatness some, but this beer definitely does fall on the sweet, dessert side of things. Best enjoyed one pour at a time, a couple pints of this would be too much for me. Creamy, fuller bodied. Overall, I always get sucked into trying vanilla flavored beers even though I hate them 99% of the time. This one fell into 1%. This was a great a beer and perhaps the best vanilla flavored beer I have tried. Nitro fit this beer perfectly as well. Would definitely drink this one again.

really enjoyed this. definitely one of the most vanilla/creamy cream ales I've ever had the pleasure of sipping on. This beer really brings out vanilla like no other - reminded me of some of the best vanilla porters, as far as sweet/cream/vanilla is concerned. I feel like this is one of my favorite 'surprised by' beers of the year so far. really enjoyed it.

An extremely creamy, vanilla packed cream ale. Stayed hazy and thick-looking for several seconds after pouring. Genuine (not artificial) vanilla is oozing from this beer, walking the line between enjoyable beer and cloyingly sweet desert drink. Probably a bit too much for some but I really enjoyed the boldness of this beer. Worth seeking out.
