they are serving this one on nitro at the brewery, and its one of the best beers they have done to date, perfect for me for this style because its not sweet at all, a real drinkable beer, much needed these days in the world of overly sweet fall releases! super heady creamy thick rich nitro pure white head, snow drifts, sexy. clear amber base with a burnt orange glow. they sprinkle it with cinnamon unless you ask them not too, its good both ways, and they dont overdo it there. toasted grain here, real vegetal bitter squash notes, earthy and unsweetened, and some subtle spices, less intense without the cinnamon obviously. so smooth and dry, creamy and big feeling, but crushable and satisfying, awesome fall beer, really ideal. almost has the base flavor of a good octoberfest, with that nutty slightly caramelized nature, perfect for the pumpkin on top of it. i wish they all tasted this good, this is one of my favorites of all time from these guys, and maybe my favorite pumpkin beer of the season this year, and i have had y fair share! get in for a pint or five before its gone! an absolute treat, this is what nitro was made for!
