this beer is way better than its ratings. a chocolate stout served up on nitro, made with local chocolate, i think its pretty nice, especially around the holidays, warming and festive without being strong or spiced, uncommon for sure. its a little sweet to drink a lot of, and the chocolate is more like fudge or brownies than it is like bitter earthy nibs, but its not over the top, and for a pint or two, its very enjoyable. i like how forward the chocolate is, and with the insanely creamy nitro element, it really feels like the holidays, so smooth and rich going down, frothy like a beaten egg almost. dry dark roasty malts, its a good thing there isnt too much caramel grain sweetness here or this would be overdone there, it has a sort of dry irish stout grain complexion, and aside from the chocolate, isnt real different from other stouts they have done in here. a tasty seasonal drink, way too quick down the hatch with this silky nitro, and a really natural tasting desserty chocolate flavor. well done here, better than anticipated and way better than its ratings here.

L: Pours a cascading brown black due to the nitro that setitles to a pitch black with notes of burgundy where the sun hits it. With a creamy tan head and spider Web lacing.
S: Roasted dark malt, some dank hops a mineral note, I don't get a lot of chocolate.
T: Sweet milk, some roasted malt and dark malt, some bittersweet chocolate and dank hops. Tastes watered down.
F: Creamy smooth bit tastes watered down.
O: Not a bad stout, but very watery I feel like this would be better without the nitro.
