scored a growler of this while on vacation. poured heavily into a m22 pint glass. growler is 8 days old. kept cool and sealed the whole time.
Appearance- a transparent amber color with a frothy off white head that leaves some decent lacing.
Aroma- booze and floral hops. pretty good for the style.
Taste- like the aroma. abv is well detected but also the floral and slight citrus hops. slight caramel malt is there but not the main attraction.
Mouthfeel- medium/ heavy body. good carbonation. alil slick maybe from the hops.
Drinkability- shoulda grabbed an extra growler of this!!!
Overall- a top notch imperial ipa. as a complete hophead this brew satisfies. as a celebration to their 400th batch they hit it out of the park. i would rather have this then anything short's was offering at the time we were out there.
