I always feel welcome at Beer Co. As a woman, it can be intimidating to go somewhere alone to hang out and have a beer. I had a bad experience at a place out near my home in Oak Ridge. I will never go back there. Everyone at Beer Co. is welcoming and kind. Josh, Chris and Lucy are always helpful and have taught me a lot about the wonderful world of craft beer. Forever a favorite local spot. Thank you Beer Co.

Smaller, but arguably better curated selection than Best Way. Great rotation of tap selections. Low key vibe, no TVs, just good beer and conversation. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Favorite place to drink beer in the Boro.

Great place for a craft brew downtown. While the shop isn't a large one, it does offer quite the selection of local and interesting beers. The bartenders are always very knowledgeable about the rotating taps, and often able to suggest beer for your own six pack. The beer isn't cheap, but the drafts are very reasonable. Love stopping by to try something new.

I really enjoyed the vibe at this place - really laid back the the people were friendly with lots of the other customers chatting with us. The crowd was younger and I was surprised by how busy the place was on an early Friday afternoon. It was small but there was a decent amount of stool seating at the bar.
Beers were well poured at a proper temperature with a good sized head (for the style) but unfortunately in disposable "glassware."
Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive with quick service. Guys working at the place offered up a lot of information on what beers were new and the more interesting offerings.
The shop/bar while small has a pretty good selection with a good focus on a lot of local NC breweries. On my visit, 5/6 taps were NC beers.

Great little place that is both bar and bottle shop. They have a constantly rotating tap selection (no growlers unfortunately) and a nice mix of options of bottles and cans to make your own 6-pack. They have quite a few local and regional beers that can be tough to find elsewhere. Bonus points for having so many of the singles in coolers.

Josh and the guys are Beer Co. are super friendly and they get some excellent things in on tap. Definitely a good stop if you are downtown Greensboro to have a huge selection of pour and serve.
