I fear my score might be lower for this than the Blonde Bock, which is one of the odd things about reviewing beers sometime... but this is an enjoyable, big ole malty Maibock that is appropriately full, just a little heavy, with some residual malt sweetness. It's just a tiny bit hot towards the finish, and maybe a little full.
A beautiful rich golden hue, absolutely clear, frothy head. Some lacing, head eventually disappears, but it's still pretty.
Bready, caramel aromas with maybe an impression of hops in the very back.
Taste is full bodied and sweet through the middle with a melanoid-heavy character, it's crisp and dry at the finish with some earth hop spice. When it warms some high alcohols fight their way out, and while I expect this beer to be full, it's a bit much.
I like it, and wanted another (couldn't, lunch), but I'd top out pretty quick after that.
Definitely worth the seasonal reach.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
