Broken Goblet Brewing Co. "Bubba's Tea Bag (w/ Strawberry Grapefruit Xue Long Green Tea)
$3/half pint at the brewery on 18 April 2018
Notes: Listed at 6.5% ABV. Hazy golden body beneath a creamy white head. Average head retention but better lacing. Raspberry aroma! Where is the grapefruit and green tea? Or is it, in fact, a strawberry-grapefruit-tea? The flavor adds some earthiness, a solid bitterness, and a firm, grainy-sweet maltiness. Medium-light in body and gently crisp. Dry finish with some fruit and earth lingering. I was really impressed with last year's version, and although this one doesn't quite match it it's very close. I think they're really onto something with this beer and I look forward to trying next year's version.
