Broken Goblet Brewing Co. "Bubba's Tea Bag 2017 (w/ Rote Grutze Tea)
"The newest version of our flagship tea beer - Rote Gruitze, a grape, black currant, blueberry, elderberry and hibiscus fruit tea".
Notes: Somewhat hazy orange body beneath a good sized head of white. Average head retention and lacing. The aroma is mainly malt but the flavor is bursting with fruit, which is interesting in itself. It's fruity with berry and apple, and the Hibiscus and currant come through with just a touch of tartness. It's sweetish upfront but then dry with some earthiness and spice in the finish. It has a medium plus bitterness that's a bit beyond what I'd normally call firm. Medium bodied with a standard carbonation. Really interesting, and quite complex, not just in the sum or its components, but also how they fit together. Very unique!
