Broken Goblet Brewing Company "Gyroscopes and Infrared"
$3/half pint at the brewery on 18 April 2018
Notes: 7.4% ABV. American IPA. Slightly hazy golden body beneath a short head of creamy white. Limited head retention and lacing. Limited aroma of malt and muddled hops but without anything "off". The flavor brings clarity with grainy and lightly caramelish malt, and more hops, mainly citrusy and herbal/earthy. It's a little bit harsh with a solid bitterness that lingers in the dry finish but the alcohol is well hidden. Medium bodied and crisp.

Appearance: orange in color with a 1" head that falls to spotty surface bubbles.
Smell: citrus and earthy tone are picked up by the nose.
Taste: caramel, orange, grapefruit, a bit of tropical fruit sweetness, and an earthy bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp throughout with a touch of dryness at the finish.
Overall: a good IPA that is easy to drink.
