Broken Goblet Brewing Company "Chocolate Pineapple Milk Stout"
$3/half pint at the brewery on 18 April 2018
Notes: 5.4% ABV. A stout, sweet from the addition of lactose, brewed with chocolate and conditioned on pineapples. Not as weird as you might think, there's just a touch of pineapple that cuts through the chocolatey side and gives it a light note of freshness. Typical appearance (black/tan) with a pretty decent head retention and some nice lacing. Chocolate, cocoa, and soft roast in the nose. The flavor follows with the hint of pineapple giving it some interest. Moderately bitter but still mainly dry in the finish. Nicely done.
