Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits. Taste is citrus, pine, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall this is a decent beer.

It's another modern IPA that brings too much foam with it. It's difficult to empty the contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug in one gentle pour. The foam recedes quickly, unevenly and with almost no glass lacing. It's cloudy yellow-amber in color. All this indicates a too heavy reliance on starches other than barley malt in the wort. There's almost no smell. Another good thing about barley malt is its contribution to a nice aroma. The taste starts off mildly, with notes of fruits both tropical and citrusy. There is a taste transition, as the finish develops a decent piney bite. It's then, the absence of a good backbone becomes obvious. Until the finish, this is bland enough the too light mouthfeel isn't impacting. But having the finish take off in a dryly biting way, a better body, with more flavor at the beginning, is missed. Eventually, some scattered glass lacing was seen. Let the name of the brew be a caveat.

Golden and slightly hazy with just about no head from a pounder can, let’s give er a try. Enjoyable citrus and piney nose harks back to the age of normal IPA’s. Imagine that. Peppery and piney bitter, this ain’t no joke but not among my favorites. Decent carbonation and a medium feel round out this bitter offering.

A fairly assertive hop profile... Excellent head retention... Incredible can, artwork and memories (E-A-G-L-E-S)... The beer while very good is just another offering the vast sea of upstart IPAs...

Tastes like an old school IPA, it's definitely not a New England IPA. Floral and citrus with a good and noticeable piney bitterness that stands out, much like the Eagles team that inspired it.

Pours a hazed amber-tinted gold. Not as opaque as most NEIPAs these days. Is there a hint of green in there, too? It’s probably just the reflection from my jersey. It has a thin, half-centimeter, creamy, near-white head that lasts a good while and leaves rings of lacing.
Peppery pine, orange and distinct overripe fruit in the nose.
The taste is similar. It offers a nice kiss of overripe fruit, but that’s overpowered by much stronger, old-school piney bitterness that lingers through the aftertaste.
Medium bodied with a sticky feel and just the right amount of carbonation to keep it lively.
This isn’t the prettiest or most well-balanced beer out there, but it gets the job done. Go Birds!
