Street side structure withsheet metal siding and a front canopy. Not very deep on ground level but has an open upstairs patio. Parking along the street or in nearby surface lots. Clear view of brewing equipment to the left of the ordering station. High and low tables placed next to the street. U-shaped bar with stools. Fifteen or so taps, with a good style selection. Coolers has cans and bottles to go. Laid back and friendly staff. Pleasant stop off spot in a quieter neighborhood.

this place is so awesome, one of my favorites that i visited while i was in charleston. they have a cool space to say the least, the brewery on the ground floor with a small patio and open garage doors open air vibe, smallish bar, no frills. upstairs is a totally different vibe, awesome rooftop space with a busy bar along one side, some cool high top tables overlooking a park next door and really the whole area, enough shade to not burn up, amazing mellow energy, it feels like vacation up here for sure. they had a nice list of beers, nothing jumped out at me as crazy adventurous, but the beers we had were very well made, professionally done. i liked the golden saison and also the never sunny ipa, both drinkable and full flavored and very well refined. service was unremarkable here, they poured us beers but were too busy to be real social or beer geeky with us, which was fine. i cant think of a better place to sit and drink a beer to be honest, a wonderful spot up there to enjoy the weather and a good ale. this is an unbelievable rooftop area, not like any brewery i have been to before up here, very relaxing! i would encourage you to visit this place if you are in the area, its really one of a kind!

Sometimes it's hard to get a beer here, but the rooftop bar makes up for a lot of things.

The rooftop makes this place. The downstairs is pretty nice. Beer is decent, but nothing blew me away. I’m sure if I lived closer, I’d find my beer there.

Great Roof Top Bar and I love the open garage door feel, its an awesome place to grab a beer. They've had some good beers every time I've gone but nothing that amazed me. Definitely an awesome brewery to check out if your in Charleston.

Great local brewer in the Charleston area just above the crosstown (hwy17)
and the staff is friendly. Open setting is great for hanging out with friends and stroller friendly.

Revelry made a strong impression. We were visiting during Charleston beer week, and they had an event featuring exclusively sour beers called "Where the Wild Things R". It was well run with multiple bartenders and 2 bars, one in the brewery and another on the roof, accessible by stairs in the back of the building.

Selection was really interesting with lots of handpicked stuff for the event. The best beer of the week for me was D9 Systema Naturae with Scuppernong grapes/lilies. They also had unblended lambic from Oud Beersel, a funky Basque cider, Revelry's Watermelon Gose, and a few others. I really appreciated the "on deck" listings on the board, under the respective kegs they would replace. Probably not the typical selection here, but lots of effort went into it, which I really appreciated. I grabbed a bottle of Stupid Sexy to go, and it was really great.

Crowd was friendly and enthusiastic for the most part. There was a tropical storm coming through with 4" of rainfall that day, much of it blowing sideways. Despite that, our group had fun at Revelry and would return again.

V: Definitely an unpretentious, stripped down vibe. The tasting room is not separated from the rest of the brewery, so you get a nice view of the inner workings of the place. There are probably a dozen or so chairs at the bar inside, but there's more seating on a patio.

Q: A very good selection of Revelry's beers, with 10 taps on hand.

S: The bartender was very friendly and prompt and answered my questions about the beer.

S: A nice array of beers: Covert Ops (a dunkelweisse), Stupid Sexy (an American Sour), Oh My Darlyn' (a Scotch Ale), Breakfast & Brunettes (a dubbel), Flaming Mallow (Imperial Stout) and five others. A good variety of styles.

Very nice local brewery. Combination of inside and outside seating. Nice selection of different styles, all of their own doing. Staff was nice. Was a bit crowded as a group of runners was congragating to start their run, but not a problem. If anything could be improved, they could use bigger/cleaner bathrooms.

I love this place. It is a basic, bare bones working brewery that cranks out great beer. They have only been open a year and the beer keeps getting better and better. Don't come here expecting a fancy tasting room away from the action in the brew house. I liken it to having a meal at the chef's table, their bar is right in the middle of it. That being said, there is also plenty of seating outside. They have a barrel program that is starting to come into its own, the Bristow, a golden sour is terrific. They always have at least 10 beer on, though usually a few more. Although they are young, I think they will be at the top of the Charleston beer scene in a few years.

Went and grabbed a sandwich and a couple beers with a bud of mine after work. Fun little place with a bar in the middle of the brewery that has a garage door that opens up to covered outside seating. Creative, fun little place with TV's showing a few college games. I did knock them down for service, but that was more for the attitude of one of the bartenders and not their service - but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt - we all have our bad days, so I will go back again.

Open concept brewery and tap house in an old industrial area. Grabbed a seat at the U-shaped bar. Picked up a pour of the hfre and a flight of some of their other options. Brews were polarizing. Their more pedestrian styles left a lot to be desired, but I was a big fan of the Brett IPA and BA Scotch Ale. Vibe was pretty cool, you're right among the brewhouse and barrels while you drink. True MICRO brewery kind of feel.

But we pretty much left once we finished our pour and flight. Bartender had a touch of the "customers are an inconvenience" attitude when we first came in and asked about their offerings. He never came back to ask if we wanted more, I even tried to start up a conversation about how much I enjoyed the Brett IPA (which really, truly is great) and he just agreed and went back to texting.

Honestly I'd probably stop by again next time I'm in there area to give them another shot at service, and see what else they have brewing.
