Appearance - The beer poured an orange copper color with a snow white head.
Smell - Orange rind comes through in the nose with bitter resinous notes
Taste - My first impression is the orange rind which flows into deeply resinous notes. The malt backbone is modest but adds a definite level of sweetness. The bitter resin carries over into the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - I love the thickness on this one. It really allows the resin to linger.
Overall - This is a fitting bitter beer to dedicate to Lemmy of Motörhead.
