Appearance- On draft, the beer was a murky black color with little off white head.
Smell - The nose had sweet coconut and dark chocolate. It was not an overwhelming nose.
Taste - At the front, the coconut is lightly sweet and milky. It is not a coconut beer that is diabeticly sweet. Mild dark chocolate malts lay the backbone. The finish seems to see most of the profile fading.
Mouthfeel - A little more viscosity would allow the coconut goodness to hang around longer. Next batch.
Overall - I love coconut beers. Though noybnecessarily elite, this one is quite good.
