Bought one 650 mL bottle in Courtenay.
Labelled as "Scottish Golden Ale". A local brewery does an excellent golden ale so I had high expectations for this which promises to add a peated malt and the smoothness of oats. Looks fine. The aroma seems to be unique - rather than individual identifiable items - kind of like treated wood and oats. The taste is better than the aroma. Prevalent malt. Lingering smoky aftertaste. Feels soft and bubbly.
Overall, good...and very good on the taste side.
