L: Pours a dark brown reddish color with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.

S: A smokey roasted malt mixes with hints of smoked meat, and rich chocolate to make a nice aroma.

T: Smokey roasted malt, a light caramel, some chocolate but the taste kinda let's the aroma down a bit.

F: Carbonation could be a little bit higher.

O: Not a bad Dunkel but there are definitely better options out there.

L- Dark transparent amber and 2F head that is light tan, Fades quickly to a thin covering with moderate cell like lace.

N - Molasses, roasted malt, vegetable department notes, light green hops.

T- Brown sugar notes, (yet not sweet), lightly brown roasted malt, flavor fades quickly to a watered down version of the flavor attack and a lightly slick finish with a touch of brown earthy dryness. Hints at the flavor profile of a more rich beer like an Eisbier but is only hinting at it. More refreshing this way although a bit more one dimensional

M- Soft medium carbonation, somewhat slick and a bit thick on the finish.

O- A nice rounded soft brown beer that is quite enjoyable. Could use a bit more dryness to balance the malt and a bit more flavor of the malt as it fades quickly. A nice alternative to an Irish stout for example or a Belhaven Scottish.

Dark amber colored body, clear; excellent carbonation; thick and lasting bone white head; sticky bits of foam adhere to the glass. Mildly sweet aroma with notes of light caramel and brown sugar. Very nice dark malt sweetness to the taste, rich and nutty; nice complementary bitterness level to accentuate the malt sweetness. Medium-heavy body with a nice lager smoothness; slick; gently sweet mouthfeel throughout the tasting experience.

The beer has a great, all-around dark beer quality, smooth and slightly sweet with a very agreeable ABV level.
