pour is a deep ruby / amber with a huge fluffy off white head. great lacing.
nose is pine, resin, a touch of malty caramel sweetness.
taste follows. traditional, west coast double IPA. pine, resin, firm bitterness, solid, balanced malty caramel backbone. a touch of sweet orange rind.
clean, crisp beer. not overly sweet. lingering grapefruit and bitterness.
