12oz, canned December 5th 2023

On the pour a finger of white head formed then quickly dissipated on top of a very slightly hazy golden body.

Aroma is extremely bright and yeasty with not much else going on. A bit overly yeasty in my opinion.

Flavor is much more balanced with a crackery malt character that is actually very nice. There is some slight bready yeast character that is again much more balanced.

The feel is dry, crisp, and very drinkable. This is actually pretty nice, but also versatile.

Overall, this is a solid Kolsch. The aroma is a bit yeast heavy, but it's easy to forget that this is an ale and not a lager.

Had on tap at the brewery. Golden in color with a small white head. Smells of biscuit, malt and a light citrus. Flavor is good, great example of how a kolsch should taste.

I was very skeptical because the can art is as crappy and off-putting as I’ve ever seen. The cans make you think it’s cheap and gimmicky.
The beer looks great, light gold, clear, decent white head.
Smells like a Pilsner, grainy, herbal, slightly sweet.
Tastes a lot like a Czech Pilsner, there’s only a slight fruitiness on the backend, it’s so slight you might not notice. It has a slightly toasted malt flavor up front with noble hops balancing it out. It says 18 ibu’s but it seems a little higher to me, more like 22 or 25. I am absolutely shocked by how much I enjoyed this beer. Disregard the hideous can art and give it a try, I think it’s great.
