12oz, canned on November 8th 2023
On the pour, just under a finger of head formed, then recedes to a decent covering on top of a hazy, deep yellow.
Aroma is bright like real orange juice, but a touch watered down. The orange does overpower any malts for the most part.
Flavor fowls the aroma, but finishes with a nice bready to biscuity malt flavor. The orange isn't very sweet, but is definitely present. Definitely juice instead of peel. Not the most balanced.
Feel is full, verging on velvety, probably caused by the juice and malts mixing together. It is pretty easy drinking however, and quite smooth.
Overall, the unflavored version of this beer is better in my opinion, since the orange juice seems to throw the balance off.
