At the tap room, into a snifter, not as hazy as their West Coast IPA, and the head is fairly slight, but the color is fantastic -- kind of a dark orange that is tinted red. Nose is sweet juicy mango and some peach and orange, but no pith or peel. Very smooth mouthful, a very solid malty backbone with lots of citrusy hoppiness...not a lot of sharp bitterness, and at first I missed that, but after a while this really grew on me, it packs some really full flavors that are very nicely balanced. Substantial body. This one really grew on me...definitely will be back for more.

Appearance: Lightly hazed, bright amber hue/nearly crimson, with a slim white head.
Aromatics: soft at first, then in come the fruity notes, the mango is there and is more tropical goodness, some peach and such, more pleasant than bitter.
Taste: then comes the hop explosion, but not overloaded with bitterness, with a persistent hop buzz that doesn't tire the tongue. Deliciousness continues on through, with out any harshness, or any acerbic hop kick.. no astringency…incredibly smooth and tasty, fruit swirled delight.

Had on tap at Sysyphus. L: Pours gold amber with a slight haze and a thin white cap. S: tropical fruit. T: A big tropical fruit palate with a smooth, yet assertive bitterness. F: Medium high body and carbonation. O: A big, fruity IPA that deserves a repeat.
