color is gorgeous ruby gleaming in the sun, with a nice 1 finger khaki head with tons of lacing. Not a big nose, lots of rye but not particularly spicy or citrusy, just kind of...wholesome and hearty. Really lingers in a bready and substantial way. Very well made.
