Easily the worst Mosaic featured IPA I've ever had.

Clear golden color with decent white head lacing the glass. Strong pineapple and orange scent with underlying onion smell (pretty common with mosaic hops). Hops steal the show with almost no malt backbone and strong pineapple and orange flavors with a fairly thin mouth feel but appropriate for this beer.

Sisyphus Bottlecap Mosaic. 6.9% ABV. 61 IBU.
Crystal clear, pale gold coloring, slim, but staying ivory head.
Aroma pops out of the glass and goes screaming down the nose. Pineapple, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, a dazzling cornucopia of hoppiness. Love it. Flat out gorgeous.
In the mouth: big hops on the palate, lean malt body. Some slight sweetness at the bottom, topped off with hop bitterness. Smooth stuff, exquisite drinking-ness. (I got tired of the word: "Drinkability.") Right on IPA. Pale ale? Nah, IPA. Big time bitterness, clean and crisp and damned delicious. Another good beer, And you can drink it. Over and over again.

On tap at brewpub.
White head. Lace. Clear golden yellow.
Very interesting IPA. The Pilsner malt adds a lot of bready and biscuit flavors. Grassy and floral hops with grapefruit citrus. Fairly fruity.
Not sure what to think of this one. It's odd. Decent.

Had this a couple times at the tap room and my ratings jump around a little bit...I guess it depends on what I'm in the mood for. Anyway, all in all, like a lot of their beers, this is hop-driven, with the pilsner malt laying down a nice and fairly neutral foundation, more biscuity than doughy, and the hops fairly bitter, with some grapefruit pith, as well as some grassy and bitter notes. The mouthful and the finish are a little less enjoyable than other parts of the beer, but if you're looking for something refreshing and bitter, with a moderate body, this one does the job very nicely, and gives you something to think about, because it is a little different.

Canned on 11/18/15. Poured from crowler purchased at Princeton's Liquor.
Slightly hazy golden color with a finger of head that quickly dissipated. Moderate amount of sticky lacing is left down the glass. The aroma features the Mosaic hop in all its glory. The beer smells dank with notes of citrus, pine, grass, and some herbaceous qualities. The flavor is also a Mosaic blast. More pine than what I normally get from this hop, but this is still dank, grassy, and herbaceous. The label says 61 IBUs and it tastes quite bitter but there is enough hop flavor payout to make the bitterness worth it. The malt adds just a bit of sweetness but gets out of the way to let the hops shine. Unfortunately this is undercarbonated and lacks vigor. Probably much better at the source on draught.
