Brewing a peanut butter beer in this town? That's Dangerous, Man. Almost as dangerous as drinking this beer with a peanut allergy. We think we hit the jackpot with this one though.

16 oz can poured into an oversized wine glass. Pours an opaque black with a tan head. Smells like a stout with burnt peanuts. Intriguing but also kind of off-putting. Taste is similar but more balanced. Mouthfeel is nice and creamy. Overall an interesting beer but not something I'd seek out again (and I was happy that my wife was helping me drink the beer - 16 oz would have been tough to finish).

I need to crawl out of my burrow more often: this is the first Sisyphus can I’ve seen. 16 oz. purporting to contain the greatest sandwich spread on Earth.
The pour it is dark with a spare mushroom cap. The nose is peanut butter. I’d be suspicious of anyone who could smell anything else.
Peanut Butter Jackpot! would not be mistaken for much of anything else (well, except an IPA nowadays). But it’s not the PB that’s on top, it’s a strong shot of roast, which seems odd, plus a soft sweetness on the end. A bit thin, especially for the claimed 7%. It is easy to sip, which is easily it’s strong point.
The search for a great local peanut butter beer goes on, ‘cause this ain’t it. Decent enough.

Poured from 16oz can into glass. No canning date information found.
Very dark brown to black colored body, with a thin mahogany edge when back lit. One finger of light tan, creamy head stays around as thick cap. Leaves behind some irregular lines of lacing.
Aroma is rather sweet, with dark roasted malts heavily influenced by a candy bar peanut butter smell.
Taste is sharp with the peanut butter, almost harsh, but the flavors mellow at the end. Overall the taste is rather sweet. Has a hint of a cola flavor, but it is a strain to taste coffee or chocolate.
Medium, and smooth mouth feel. Has a touch of tongue burn if drunk quickly.
For those who like peanut butter beers, this is another one to try. Difficult to have more than one during a drinking session; the flavors get close to cloying and induces palate fatigue.
