Been a long time since I’ve been to the taproom, but I figured I’d try something new, so why not try an neipa. Served in one of those non-stemmed, tulip-like ipa glasses, fairly clear (strange for the style?) honey-golden orange, not much head. Nose is non-descript citrus and tropical fruity, some faint basic wet bready malt. Taste follows…maybe get a little faint dank green herbal hops in there too. Body is medium, mid-to-low carb, wet, and finish just kind of sits. I’m wondering if I got served the wrong pale ale…it’s not bad, but it isn’t to style, and there’s nothing about it that stands out.
