Not much of anything happening with this beer. Every component (smoke, sour, the lacto sweet) is so subtle that it doesn't deliver on any of them. Disappointing offering from two great breweries.

very light beer, no real sour flavor to speak of, but a nice smoke flavor, and the finish is clean and dry.Good.

Gratzer Smoke & Sour Collaboration from Steel & Oak Brewing Co. And Four Winds Brewing - This poured a rich brown in colour with a nice tan head that had some lasting power. There was some yeast, malt and grass on the nose. Didn't get any hops but did get a slight smokiness. Not as much as one might expect from the large bold Smoke & Sour on the bottle. The taste is very light. The smokiness again is very mild, but so is the sour. It does have a light sweetness maybe from the lacto fermentation but nothing really jumps out. Still all in all a half decent easy drinking beverage.and at 4% ABV I could see having a couple of these on the ball diamond this coming spring.
