Nothing crazy over the top. I really like it. Nice and wet. Not too hoppy. Great drinking beer.

Not jet-black, closer to very-very dark brown in appearance. Tan lacing on the glass and a thin sticky head remains though out. The smell is amazing; truly the best smelling back IPA I've come across. A roasted black coffee scent is met and quickly overcome by pine and citrus, mellowed by a hint of malt. The taste comes strong with black coffee followed by an oily resin. Less citrus in the taste than in the smell, though it peaks out a bit as the beer warms. Mouthfeel is spot on.
Burn'em is a very impressive up-and-coming operation. They've hit the South Bend market hard and I've really, really enjoyed everything I've tried by them. They seem to feature really unique interpretations of various styles found mostly on draft, but they recently started bottling and canning. Check them out if you see them!
