A mix of both a winter warmer and a wee heavy. More winter spices than scotch ale. Dark reddish amber opaque but not cloudy. A nice reddish tan one finger head.

Look: It pours brown with reddish hues. It has a tan head. Head retention is average.
Smell: Ginger and cinnamon are up front in the aromas with caramel and all spice close in support. There is a bit of a sugary note in the background with very low dark fruit.
Taste: The ginger is the first flavor up front with cinnamon and caramel. There are some clove notes in the background with hints of dark fruits.
Feel: It has a medium full body with a ginger and sugary after taste.
Overall, the ginger was the dominate spice followed by the cinnamon. The Wee Heavy was more in support.
