A humble little place in a strip mall in Seattle's Mountlake Terrace suburb. I sometimes go here because my favorite local butcher shop is a few doors down. Modest interior that looks more like a restaurant than a brewery environment . No real exterior seating but given it's location there's usually plenty of open tables.

15 taps with a large assortment of B/B+ caliber brews... a lot of their regular offerings and rotating seasonals plus a house root beer and a cider or two. Prices are on par with other breweries in the area. Service is pretty friendly and knowledgeable on their offerings, pretty extensive menu of gastropub type fare that's a little on the pricey side. No real entertainment to speak of except a couple of TVs

A nice enough place to knock back a few and grab some grub, again, considering it's remote location it's usually pretty quiet too. I actually recommend Double D's meats (the previously mentioned butcher shop) and then check these guys out afterwards.

Stopped here on the way up north. Lots of great places to drink in Seattle, but parking is a nightmare at most places. Conversely, this place is right off highway 5, easy to get to and no hassle parking.

Interior is generic brew pub in the vein of Rock Bottom and the like. Music in the background, lots of wood decor. Inside/outside seating depending on your preference.

Beer was served in a mug, but I didn't get any styles that would require special glassware. Everything was clean and well poured. Overall place was clean as well.

Service was good, very friendly. I asked for recommendations and the server suggested the chocolate oatmeal stout.

The selection was decent, all your common styles were covered with multiples of stout and IPA. No non-house beers were available.

Food was good, but not amazing. It's a step up from bar food, but nothing special.

I visited the new Diamond Knot brewpub in Mountlake Terrace yesterday to have a few beers and catch the penultimate World Cup game. I have to say it's a great little place.

OK, maybe not so little. There's a whole dining area, plus an outside patio, an events room and the bar itself. Everything is finished in blonde wood and dark iron -- a great look, in my opinion. The bar has several TVs which were showing various things while I was there but with about half set to the Cup. Everything is clean and squared away, which I guess should be expected of a brand-new business.

There were a dozen or so Diamond Knot offerings on tap, plus a guest tap and a cider. The brews on tap seemed to largely match those available at their main Mukilteo location, but this may change as the brewpub matures. I am usually a fan of DK's brews, so I was not disappointed at their selection. Service was good; my server was prompt and helpful whenever I needed him -- no complaints there.

As for food, I had the Fundamental burger and really enjoyed it. Their kitchen staff seem to know what they are doing. I'd definitely be back to this place just for a burger, let alone the great beer. Overall, I definitely recommend it.
