Downtown on the highway road through town. A tall dining and taproom, with ample wooden bar and table space. A small selection of their beer and the place is more of a casual restaurant than a brewery taproom. A basic lunch menu and the food was sufficient. The IPA I had was good.

What a surprise to find this small brewpub on the main street in John Day, miles from anywhere. Nice cozy, friendly place with a handful of taps, rotating through the seasons. Small menu as well, upscale pub grub, but not pricey. Staff was attentive and friendly, knew their product.
