Pours light cloudy, copper. Huge, foamy, off white head that fades slow.
The time it took to pour half of this into a 16 oz glass was annoyingly long. Ten minutes.
Smells tart yeast, citrus, grassy, funk, fruit and malt hints.
Tastes lemon, grassy, funk and light tartness. Followed by citrus peel bitterness and light bready malt. Finish is dry with a bitter and yeasty linger. Medium body and high fizzy carbonation

375ml bottle, undated, poured into a stemless wine glass. Enjoyed on 10.9.16, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a hazy and cloudy copper color, golden hues with a huge white head, three fingers at least, lots of lace and good retention. The aroma is really funky, tons of Brett, citrus peel, wildflower, grassy hops, and cereal grains. It's somewhat inviting, though the funk doesn't really mesh well with the traditional IPA aromas. The flavors are a bit harsh, light tartness, bitter hops, grassy with lots of grapefruit peel, a touch of floral flavor with some white grape, cereal grains a lot of musty funkiness that feels a bit stale. The mouthfeel nice, coating medium body, lively carbonation, zippy and crisp with an easy dry finish.
Verdict: A bit of a miss here from Like Minds. The funkiness from the Brett just doesn't find itself in good company with the hops here. This style can certainly be successful, but this feels disjointed, clunky and at times unpleasant.

Aroma is fruit/citrus, mild sugar and earthy/Brett. The flavor is fruit/light citrus, sugar/slight candy, hops and a mix of spicy and mild alcohol/warming in the finish.

Served in a chalice glass, its a deep yellow, hazy with persistent white head. Smells like tropical fruit, pineapple, oranges. The taste is sour and fruity, tastes of pineapple and citrus, a tiny touch of funk and hops becoming evident on the finish. The mouth feel is light, dry and crisp. Seems like a beer that shouldn't work, but it does.

12.7 fl oz bottle, no bottled on date or batch number present. This was just delivered to the local bottle shop yesterday, so I'm more than confident that it is fresh. My first beer from Like Minds Brewing Company, a 'Brett IPA'.
Poured into a Duvel tulip.
A - It pours a nice deep golden orange body, slightly cloudy, with about a finger of frothy off-white head that stays awhile, leaving some okay scattered fluffy lacing. Appears adequately carbonated. Looks good for what it is.
S - Decent aromatics on display: a healthy dose of dry earthy yeasty brett content comes through most apparently. Invokes soft notes of indistinct citrus fruits that sort of blend in with the juice from the hop profile. Invokes notes of tropical fruit - orange, citrus, pineapple. Kind of on the soft side; what's here is nice but i would love to see it more amped up.
T - Taste follows the nose: a healthy spiking of brett invades a juicy tropical IPA base. Big notes of oranges, citrus zest, nectarine, pineapple, peaches, earth, & rind. Slightly vinous. The brettanomyces really shine here; I'm like this one more and more as i drink it.
M - Feel is smooth, fluid, crisp, & clean. Finishes dry, earthy, bready, yeasty, with some subtle lingering citrus notes. Medium-full body.
Overall, an enjoyable first offering from Like Minds, i look forward to trying more from this brewery.

L: Pour amber with about an inch of white foam. Foam dissipates quickly but leaves some lacing and remains on the edges of the glass.
S: Brett smell clearly comes through with some tropical notes on the nose.
T: Similar to the nose, Brett is clearly evident and tropical notes along with lingering bitterness.
F: A little overcarbed for me, but not bad.
O: An enjoyable beer. Will certainly drink again.

Aroma is sour malt. Flavor's the same plus bitter and a touch sweet. Bitter lingers. I pick up no hop qualities other than the bitterness. It's a decent enough sour beer, but I see no connection to an IPA.
