Most distinctive flavor is menthol. A little unusual.

Pours a dark reddish brown with a thin layer of foam initially and some minor spotty lacing.
Aroma is a little funky and lactic, leather and apple butter undercurrents as it warms up. Some nutmeg.
Taste is a little fruity and woody, puckering tartness, light damp wood and toasted malt aftertaste.
Medium bodied with an ample but balanced acidity level. Good carbonation, finishes fairly dry.
Overall this was pretty good, and also true to style.
