On tap at the brewery, very light in color, more yellow than orange. Aroma is mild hops. Flavor is mild hops as well, I think this is a hard style to pull off because it almost always comes off like hop water.

12 oz can. Pours hazy yellow gold with a huge pillowy white head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is lots of sugary citrus, tropical fruit and piney hops.

The flavor is lots of sugary tropical fruits and citrus with a big piney hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little watery.

Overall, a great session IPA - lots of tropical fruit and piney hops.

cool to see these guys have some cans in the market now, this is excellent beer from a very excellent new brewery. a smell nelson and pilsener malts, maybe because thats what i want to smell, but for me its there. the way citra sometimes gets very tart, almost funky for a moment, this has all the way through, and although its very dry, the mouth waters hard for another sip, refreshing twice! maybe its not nelson now that i taste it, but its awfully tropical tasting for west coast hops, and so so pungent for a beer as light as this. bubbles in this are colossal and copious, the perfect mouthfeel for the style, its spot on. the can says follow your nose, and thats real easy to do with this one, because the nose leads me to a vibrant but also delicate brew, that delivers as much hop flavor as one could hope for. i still think to call a sesion beer thats 5% abv is ridiculous and foolish, under 5% is the line for me, and while this is close, just call it an ipa for the love of god. its not malty and strong, but that doesnt mean its not still just an ipa, without saying session. they are all sessionable if you do it right. rant over, and in all reality, this is a beer that belongs in your fridge this summer! i would wager almost anything this has nelson hops in it.

Draft at the brewery. Great citrus hop aroma. Tangerine. Flavor is similar but not as intense. Mouthfeel is just slightly watery but it's hard to get great balance in this style. Fantastic beer!
