the can says this is designed to please beer geeks and occasional beer drinkers alike, and i think it nails that objective beautifully, and is one of the more versatile blondes out there. in some ways, its the blonde to end all blondes, not that its my favorite beer of all time, its hard for me to be moved by the style most of the time, but the edition of some wheat malt fluffs it up and adds a layer, while the hops are brighter than most without being bitter, it has evolved the style about as far as it can naturally go before becoming something else. great head on it, awesome carbonation on the palate, and supremely refreshing, although still fuller bodied for the style. instead of being flavorless yellow water, this takes the american blonde to a great new place. so many breweries can do all the gnarly ipas and barrel aged stuff but cant make a basic blonde or red thats worth drinking, and its nice to see these guys show their skills with a beer this good. thank you for making this one!
