12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy dark golden orange with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet soapy biscuity malt with some grassy hops.
The flavor is sweet biscuity malts with some fruit and a grassy minty bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, English IPAs just aren't my thing.

Great looking beer, but overall rather unimpressive. Very drinkable, though.

this is the least compelling of the beers i had from 4 noses. its not that its bad, just very simple and generic in many ways, and the body is perhaps a little too thin for the bitterness and booze that this carries, both of which come through and linger. its fresh though, and the hops are nice and appropriately intense. malt base is minimal, almost too light, and where the fresh hop pale exuded balance, this one is tipped way toward the bittering hops. carbonation is there and the feel is fine, but the booze is just a little exposed and something feels like its missing a little bit. they do some other india pales and double/imperial types there too, which i think all pick up where this one leaves off in terms of pushing the quality higher. not bad, but i wouldnt order this one again, too many cool other beers on the menu here for a generic ipa.
