On tap at the brewery; poured into a pub glass.
Appearance - gold, little carbonation, thin white head, weak lacing.
Smell - hop forward nose, citrus with a hint of malt, but this comes off more IPA than pale, very good!
Taste - citrus hops, with a strong floral hop presence; nice malt foundation, but again, more IPA than pale.
Feel - this is where the pale overtakes the IPA; well balanced feel, lightly bitter and very drinkable!
Overall - promoted as a pale ale, but if your an IPA fan, then I'd strongly consider this.

very well made pale ale here, the hops are dripping from it, and the beer is spot on for the style. clear and sunny colored with a nice white airy head on it. smells like oily hops, i was sort of hoping for more of the fruity hop thing, new zealand and all, but this isnt that, and i really dont miss it. grassy and bitter enough, the hops stand out above the pale malt base, although this beer is in very good balance. carbonation is perfect for this style, robust but not obnoxious, and the medium body keeps it drinkable enough yet satisfying for winter weather. i think for as simple as this beer is, it shows the skill of the brewer very well, and was a great first beer for me to have here. it has me excited for everything else they make. not as intense and far out as other fresh hopped beers, but its delicious nevertheless.
