Brief impressions from a can:
Pours a healthy off-white cap over a vibrant copper body. Clean, with no visible yeast/lees. Appears overcarbonated judging by the high head retention (~10+ minutes).
Aroma brings bright floral hops, resinous hops, and clean citrus. Pale malts keep her balanced. Not the most interesting or pungent hop aromatics, but I'm looking forward to the first sip. Aromatic intensity is average.
Has a soft slightly oily mouthfeel to cushion the hop bitterness. And bitter it is, lacking adequate balancing pale malts (or caramalt). Grating hop bitterness scrapes the palate, heightened by a harsh texture that drags on the palate. Hop pungency is surprisingly low considering the bitterness, with shallow flavours of floral, vaguely citrusy, and somewhat resinous hops. A blip of oniony character has me suspecting Simcoe was used as well. Why hit the bitterness this hard if you aren't going to deliver with hop flavours? I'd like to see them ditch the Magnum (or at least ease it back) and go with a more flavourful hop like amarillo or citra.
Overcarbonated, and a little warm in terms of alcohol presence. There's no harmony of texture and taste here, and the build is neither balanced nor interesting in terms of the style. I like that they seems to try to ground this with more classic hops instead of chasing after the tropical hipster hops all the kids are going crazy for on the East coast of the U.S., but more hop flavour is desperately needed in this wanting attempt at an imperial IPA. A shrug of an effort from 4 Noses. Back to Lagunitas Sucks it is...

Stands out in a crowded style/segment in a very crowded market out here in Colorado. Sending as extras right now and one day I believe this will beer will have more notoriety.

First beer I have had from this brewery. Pours deep gold with a solid finger of head. Extremely tropical smelling . Mostly mango . Taste follows the same line with a tad of sweet in the finish. Overall I like it. Need to explore more beer from them.
