Took a chance on this as I have had a couple stouts with cinnamon that were pretty good. As in I could taste all the flavors, not just cinnamon.
This poured stout black and sported a light brown head which dissipated quickly but left a ring that stuck around most of the drink.
The taste does have the coffee and vanilla flavors which are almost, but not quite, overwhelmed by the cinnamon. The lactose is much more a feel than a taste, but it leaves no doubt this is a milk stout.
The feel is a little thinner than I expected, and it might be the cinnamon that provides the tingling sensation.
OA, it’s not that I don’t like cinnamon, I just think it’s overpowering. So while I’m glad to have tried it, and largely enjoyed it, probably won’t be buying any more.

 

 

Milk stout, solid. Imperial stout, no.

16oz can. Purchased at Mr B's in Denver. Stamped on bottom can lip is 'CANNED ON 12/07/22'.
Black colored body, with very thin mahogany brown back lit edge. Mocha brown colored head, and later a cap and ring. Leaves behind a partial wall of lacing, plus some scattered spots.
Aroma smells very sweet, with a prominent note of cinnamon. Has a roasted malt base, and a faint whiff of coffee.
Taste is sweet also, but the coffee arrives in the last part of the profile. Lots of cola like sugar and vanilla. Cinnamon arrives early and stays late. RC Cola-like in the aftertaste.
Medium plus mouthfeel, similar to 1% milk. Slight syrup texture. There is close to a stinging mouth sensation from the cinnamon. Good carbonation.
Sweet dessert beer with cinnamon spice, and slight coffee.

Tall can direct from the source..." canned 11/9/22" stamped towards the bottom of the can.

Pours very dark and stout like, under a mocha cap, lasting nicely and leaving very fine scattered lacing all up and down the glass. Nice looking brew.

On the sniff its the expected, melange of cafe au lait, milk chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla,...inviting and intriguing.

Delicious brew, complex and simply loaded with tastes all picked up on the sniff...did I say this was delicious? MIghty fine creation, that is drinkin now at 5 weeks in can, just wonderfully...no need to age this stunner...get some an enjoy....

 

 

malty creamy stout great beer to enjoy

Just got a case of this today. It looks great and reeks of sweet cinnamon, taste is about the same, really not much coffee at all but overall a pretty good stout.

Had another 4 pack of this, forgot about the coffee but it's still super subtle. Overall though I just like this brew

16 oz can, canned 10/21/21. Pours dark brown black with a medium frothy light tan head that goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet roast malt and lactose with a lot of cinnamon.

The flavor is sweet malt with vanilla and lactose with lots of cinnamon and roast finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, decent but heavy on the sweetness and cinnamon and light on coffee.
