Very clear, gold with a massive bleach-white froth that is ever-present leaving confetti lacing in its wake. Nose is very floral, hay, saltine malt backbone, tiniest wee acidic sharpness and lots of old-world hops. The flavor follows suit with round cereal sweetness overlaid with bright floral hop flavor and a slight bite. Dry, drinkable, quenching-yet-stiff. Very nice beer. Spot-on maibock for my palate. Maybe a little heavy-handed on the aroma hopping, but nonetheless I wish I'd bought another can...

Cloudy light gold. Smells sweet with hints of oak. The taste isn't my favorite as the foeder has reduced the sweetness you expect from a maibock. The taste is overwhelmingly tannin/woody followed up with some alcohol burn. There is some sweetness, but it finishes dry. I wish it were more crisp. The tannins just turn this into something that doesn't do it for me. May work for some, but it's not my jam.
