Dyno-mite hop exploration. Canned late 10/22, kept very cold, enjoyed for xmas 2022. The pils, wheat, and oats float the flavors absolutely brilliantly. Finessed body and mouthfeel. Amazing balance and expression from this brew for this NE ipa style with a single hop focus. I love this style for the depth and breadth and nuance of flavor and aroma that can be displayed in full form.
Tons of cool candied apricot, buttery biscuit, and white grape / phenolic stuff going on. Lovely champagne / cava like notes midway. Honeysuckle, faint lavender, sweet grapefruit, especially lingering. Valencia orange creamsicle, gentle raspberry, pleasant light lime and melon tones. Proceeds finally into grassy, faintly sprucey, dank, profoundly hoppy flavors with a delicious tangy edge, and then almost faint but delicious alium (green onion but yummier) as it lingers. Sweet at the nose and mid palate then wraps up really neatly with no heaviness or lingering sappiness. Wicked drinkable. Such a treat! Rare to see such a balanced and deep el dorado exploration. Such a dope hop. Perfect at 6.6%.
