A 500ml bottle purchased at the brewery.
Look- A thin brown pour producing a ring of tan foam.
Smell- Heavy on the cinnamon followed by marshmallow and a weak whiff of coffee. Not getting any cacao or barrel.
Taste- Once again very cinnamon forward followed by marshmallow, weak coffee, cacao and barrel.
Feel- Thinner than I prefer my stouts but it does provide some barrel warmth.
Overall a middle of the road dessert type barrel aged stout. A bit heavy on the cinnamon for me which squelches the other ingredients, especially the coffee. Still enjoyable and it didn't break the bank at $20ish a bottle.
