Black, with a tan head that leaves a nice lace.
Aroma is roasty and a little boozy, yet both are relatively modest in the flavour. Not much roasted acidity, with a pleasant bitterness. Biscuity, roasted nut, cocoa, molasses and a hint of smoke.
Very well-balanced and easy-drinking for a brew this strong!
