brewed for their third anniversary, this is an excellent brett pale, one off the better wild yeast driven beers i have had from these guys actually, and i completely agree with the other reviewer here that the brett complexion in this beer is a lot like an orval! i love being able to have such an interesting and complete beer at such a low abv, this is perfect in that regard, it allows me to drink more and to drink for longer, and i always appreciate that. great funk to the brett here, musty and rustic, truly farmhouse-esque, with some light white wine fruitiness to it as well, but this isnt at all tart or acidic. the grain base is nice and round, likely wheat driven, smooth and mellow and a nice base for the brett. there are some light hops on the back end too, lemon and orange peel notes behind the brett, but this is all about the yeast, and the yeast is delicious. its also dried this out wonderfully, its so dry its crazy, super well carbonated too, i love when bretty funky beers have this mouthfeel! overall a really well done beer, mature in its yeast complexion and very drinkable. well done! they should consider bottling this one!

Not a ton of flavour, but good for its weight. Really good body considering that it's all Brett and very low abv. A really nice drinker. A light, American version of Orval?
