a very tasty and refreshing dry hopped sour ale, listed it as a wild ale as i dont believe its a berliner, not wild i know, but we lack a better option here. this is way cleaner than the plum table sour i had right next to it, the sour profile is super tidy, brisk tart lemon and acidity and then dry, really beautiful with these hops, and super interestingly flavored on the whole. the hops to me have some neat fruit notes, peach and pineapple, but also some bitterness in here too, its hoppy, and its great. blonde and light on the malt, some pale wheat perhaps, really light body though, and very dry to finish with the citrusy acidity and the hops. simple overall really, but sometimes thats what makes the best beers. this is a fine base for a single hop like this, and it would make sense to get a little series of them going. id love to see one with sorachi ace given the lemon flavors in the souring culture and the lemony notes of that hop. easy drinking, well carbonated, summery, and delicious. baere is on a serious roll!
