Unknown Parentage is named for the mysterious origins of the Vignoles grapes grown in Palisade, Colorado. This wine-like sour beer is a blend of a wine barrel open-fermented Saison with fresh-pressed Vignoles grape juice and skins and a barrel of our golden sour. The beer in this bottle was further aged in a vintage French Cognac barrel that Laws Whiskey House finished their beautiful Four Grain Bourbon in. The subtle carbonation is an ode to the spirits that blessed this barrel before it.
