Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a pint glass.
Mostly clear, deep gold colored body. Creamy white head. Leaves behind frequent, short lacing strings.
Aroma of a toasted malt base and hops that express tropical and citrus fruits.
Taste is sweet with a bitter edge. Flavors of toasted malt, citrus and tropical fruits, and a bitter pine note. Aftertaste sticks with the more bitter aspects of the hops.
Medium mouthfeel. Clean finish. Moderate bitterness throughout. Good carbonation.
Fits for the WCIPA style, but not extreme in any way.

12oz can with a date. From my friend Simon, thanks Simon!
Overly bitter IPA, hopped to the max, filled with ripe tropical fruit flavors. Smell is kinda rusty, and the flavors all go grey as it warms and the pale malts come out. Pretty tasty overall, tho

Appearance: Pours a hazy, pale yellow color with an orange hue. Almost a pale pink hue too. A mild white head that fades rather quickly. SRM of 8-9. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong aromas of pineapple and stonefruit with some tangerine. Tons of sweet peach and pineapple. Some nectarine. No pine or bitterness on the nose. Aromas are extremely juicy. (4.25)
Flavor: Flavors follow the nose with lots of peach, pineapple, and whatever passionfruit is?. Much more peach than I expected. But this also has a pithy unripened citrus pineapple bitterness. A slight floral component. Yes, a strong crystal malt or somewhat toasty toffee sweetness comes through, but it somewhat balanced by the pithy fruity bitterness. (4.0)
Feel: Medium to heavy bodied. Mild carbonation and slightly syrupy. More sweetness drives out most of the pithy bitterness, but it lingers on the tongue with a trace. (3.75)
Overall: A delicious IPA. Fantastic peach and pineapple flavors. Juicy like the east-coast, but with a little bit of flower and pithy bitterness that is instead balanced by a sweetened malt. It has the malt body of an English IPA, flavors of a NEIPA, but a decent pithy bitterness. So I guess it lands this as a midwest IPA. A good IPA nonetheless. (Final Rating: 4.02)

Had on tap. Golden orange with two fingers of foam. Smell stars orange, grapefruit, passion fruit, a hint of rhubarb, and drier hops. Taste starts with the big citrus especially, but thins out in a hurry, and finishes dry and crisp with some pine. Feel has nice hop sharpness, not much malt presence, almost a little bready too. Classical leaning, enjoyable when in the right mood

L: amber gold with a light haze under a lacy 2" off-white cap with good retention
S: well balanced aromas featuring spicy hops, moderate malt, mild fruit and citrus
T: Big malt flavors presenting slightly sweet bread crust and bread crumb balance well with melon and citrus from the hops and the citrus rind bitterness
F: body leans to medium plus and the carbonation is medium
O: A very drinkable, nicely balanced bitter, malty beer
