Looking at the pour I thought, "Uh-oh has Bauhaus caught the haze train" but after first taste this has a pleasant bitterness and not overly sweet like those hype pale ales. Has a herbaceous and tea flavor with some subtle citrus and melon notes. I like this flavor.

This beer purs a slightly hazy orange with an average head. The aroma is bright, with notes of grapefruit peel, lemon peel, and melon. The flavor is mellow and easy going, with bright bitterness and notes of lemon peel, lemon grass, grapefruit peel, and toasty malts. The mouthfeel is somewhat full with fluffy carbonation. Overall this is a simple but reasonaby tasty beer - really nothing special, other than that it is an uncompromisingly pleasant drinker.

16oz can from Justdoit1234 (thanks man!). Canned 7/18/16. Served in a Wicked Weed snifter.
Pours a bright orange gold with about two fingers of dense white head. The foam settles to some chunky surface retention and wide collar, imparting some decent sized clumps of lace.
Smells of bread, old citrus, a floral herbaceous note and some honey-like sweetness. The nose seems a little dull.
Flavors of melon rind, bready malt, an earthy, floral quality, citrus pulp and lightly sweetened toast. Slightly bitter and for my tastes it lacks excitement.
Light body with moderate carbonation. Aftertaste of mildly bitter hop bread.
Still Kickin us a decent pale ale but seems to play to characteristics that just aren't my thing. A pale ale for someone that prefers less aggressive hopping.
