Pours a cloudy light copper/orange with a large white head. Decent lacing, but there are obnoxiously large floating particles that settle quickly to the bottom of the glass. Aroma is bright tropical fruits. Flavor follows the nose, pineapple forward. Feel is on the light side of medium bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. Overall, the flavor and feel overcome the poor look of this beer enough to make this beer a winner.

I tried a pint of this beer off the tapper at Bub's (pronounced "boobs") in downtown Winona, Minnesota. It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had mild apricot and papaya fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and subtle bitter pineapple and mango presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

It has the fruitiness of a typical hazy IPA, but not the juiciness. The hops of a pale ale comes through pretty. It’s like a more typical American pale ale, with the added tropical fruit smell and flavor from a hazy IPA.
I don’t love it and probably wouldn’t get it again, but I can see where it could have it’s niche with beer drinkers looking for a certain thing.

12oz can into a pint glass.
L: Pours hazy dirty light apricot, lighter at base, w some small sediment chunks that settle, a thin eggshell white head with excellent retention, very good fine carbo, random skeletal lacing.
S: Orange blossom, citrus, mango, pineapple, rather tropical.
T: Fresh fruits, orange, big pink grapefruit, lemon rind, pineapple, citrus pith, lightly sweet, a hint of light crackery bread. Citrus rind creates overall bitterness which lingers.
F: Juicy, straight ahead med-bodied w a somewhat gentle middle, a med-fast moderately drying finish, holds carbo well.
O: A very good tasting, quenching hop frwd & juicy hazy pale ale. Fairly tropical, citrusy & floral, drinks EZ. It is very good in it's style.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of orange, grapefruit, sweet caramel and toffee. Sweet fruity taste with orange and pineapple. Nice toasted caramel backbone.

Can.
Easy drinking pale with a mix of Midwest vibes, some west coast hops, and north east juiciness. Hoppy and bitter, some resin, a bit of malt, and some juiciness. Fun beer. Easy drinking.

Lounge Wizard pours a hazy golden color, with a small, but long lasting head. Flavor is a little weak, but dry, tropical fruit notes. Flavor is dry, nice mellow tropical fruit flavors, with a nice mellow bitterness as well. Good body and feel. Overall, very nice hazy pale ale. Good body of flavor, while being very drinkable.

12oz can that fell behind an old jar of sauerkraut and was thought forever lost. About a year old
Hazy yellow with some suds that don't stick around. Smells like lemon pledge and armpit. Tastes similar, is nice and bitter, and easy drinking enough to be refeshing on a hot day... I'd imagine
Very well hopped. But that seems to be the standard these days

Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy medium orange color with a mild, creamy white head. SRM of 9. (3.75)
Aroma: Medium aromas of sour grapefruit and lemon. Juice and orange candied citrus too but lots of flower herbs too. (3.50)
Flavor: Flavor follows the nose with more mandarin orange, tropical melon, berry. Some tropical pineapple sweetness and candied orange cup sweetness to follow. Sweet, but lighter bodied. A slightly plastic/rubber quality. Small amount of herbs here too. No bitterness. (3.50)
Feel: Light to medium-bodied w/ moderate carbonation. Leans slightly sweet on the palate. (3.50)
Compared w/ Odell's Experimental Wolf Picker IPA 3/19/20: Pours a slightly hazier color. More citrus and candy aromas. Less tropical pine and flower. Slightly sweeter and heavier.
Compared to Stunner Surly's Tropical Ale 6/16/20: Pours a slightly clearer color. More citrus and herbs on the aroma. Less juicy orange and sweetness.
Compared to Sam Adams Summer Citrus 9/15/21: Pours a hazier and lighter color. More berry, guava, melon. More bubblegum. Winner: Sam Adams
Compared to Bells' Juicy Gossip Pale Ale 6/10/21: Similar pour. Milder aromas. More tropical aromas/flavors. More resinous such as resinous mandarin orange, tropical melon, berry, and sweet orange cup. Less zesty citrus lemon, grapefruit, and flower. Also less peach.
Overall: A tropical and somewhat resinous pale ale. Tropical and some resinous sweetness. Hints of herbs. Leans sweeter. It's okay, but I might not chase this one down again. (Final Rating: 3.47)
