Appearance: Pours a completely hazy, light orange color with a massive, glowing white head. SRM of 9. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of soapy peach , strawberry, green citrus, perfume, and spice. Supported by pineapple and lime. A touch of tart spruce berry pushes right up through the center of the nostrils. Strong flower and perfume. (4.25)
Flavor: Flavor follows the nose with more peach and pine. Some pineapple sweetness before it evolves into a tart spruce and peachy pine bitterness. Has a definite limeade twist. Complex flavor profile. Strong flower and perfume. Finishes on the bitter end. (4.50)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Strong carbonation. Creamy. You think its creamy, but then a strong bitterness comes through the center to actually combat the cream. The pine and unripened fruit bitterness wins out. (4.25)
Compared to Nordic Stag Series: This one pours much hazier. Stronger and fruiter. More peach, pineapple, and limeade. Slightly creamier and a much stronger piney bitterness on the end. Overall, this Vossisdoss is much superior.
Compared w/ Pseudo Sue 3/14/20: Milder aromas. More peach, orange, and lime flavor. Similar body, but finishes heavier & more bitter. Winner: Pseudo Sue
Compared to Insight Brewing's Terror Bear 5/24/20: Pours a lighter and hazier color. More green citrus and yeast flavor. A strong amount of peach, but less peach-focused. Less juicy. Finishes more soapy, dry and bitter citrus with much more drying yeast. Winner: Vossissdoss
Overall: An incredibly complex beer. Have to say that I am absolutely digging the Kveik yeast here. This is the first Kveik IPA I've had so not really sure what to expect, but definitely impressed. It provides a unique flavor profile. Reminds me of a spruce and unripened peach component with a limeade twist. Too bad this is a seasonal, one-timer IPA. This one could be a permanent or staple in IPA in a craft brewery. This is a fantastic beer and one that might stand out as a single among the ages. (Final Rating: 4.40)

This was my favorite of the Freezebox beers, but hard to be objective to style as Kveik yeast beers are still a new thing, and this one isn't really a NE IPA as many Kveik beers are. More of a slightly hazy standard American IPA with Kveik yeast.
Definite notes of citrus (especially orange peel) and hints of Christmas spice. Don't know how much is from the hops vs the yeast; certainly some combination of the two from my research into this yeast.
Different but highly recommended.

L-Hazy oak colored.
S-Aroma is part citrus, part stone fruit, part floral.
T-I get a lot of peaches and nectarines on the flavor...some bright citrus notes as well with oranges most evident. Almost some peaches and cream like flavors...
M-Body is medium...smooth texture...finishes with just a slight bitterness.
O-Another well made, enjoyable beer from this place. This whole freeze pack was very good-to-excellent. This is definitely along the lines of a NE IPA and it stacks up very nicely in that category. Better than some actually as this lacks the hop burn I sometimes find in that style. It also is not too sweet. Well done.
