Bestoked pours a darker copper color with a small but long-lasting lacing head. The aroma is a little lighter but has notes of dry tropical fruits. The flavor has stronger notes of dry tropical fruits, then finishes with a mild but more bitter flavor with earth notes. Good feel. Overall, a fruity beer that's isn't too sweet.

Pours a cloudy copper/gold with a thick off-white head. Large floating particles, decent lacing. Aroma is mild, roasted malt, caramel, hints of citrus and pine. Flavor follows the nose bitter up front and throughout, a bit of sweetness. Feel is medium bodied and low in carbonation. Overall, I'm not as impressed as the others who have rated this beer. Decent enough.

L: Pours hazy apricot color w a 1/4" white bubbly/soft head that goes to a thick skin, low carbo, very good sheeting, banding & lacing.
S: Orange candy, light caramel, light honey & fruit as the beer warms. Very simple.
T: A hop zing with a light tang, bready, ripe citrus, sweet brown bread, light melon, berries, citrus zest, light pine, lightly earthy, a bit of toasted malts, gently tart in the center, sweet kiss on the lips.
F: Lightly zesty med to med-light bodied w a med-short drying finish. Fairly clean throughout.
An EZ drinking WCIPA for it's ABV%. Brewery notes mention sweet cannabis as one of the aromas but I don't detect that. It has a lovely gentle hop bite that is tamed by candied toasted malts. Reminds me of fast dissolving fruit drop hard candy with malts. Very good tasting straight ahead craft IPA that is excellent in it's style.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee, citrus and resin. Good orange, grapefruit and other tropical fruits with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy (~30% opacity), medium, pale orange color with and thick white head. SRM of 10. (4.25)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of orange, grapefruit citrus, and some dank tropical melon and berry undereneath. Typical West Coast Aroma.

Flavor: Mild to moderate flavors of orange citrus, grapefruit citrus, some dank tropical melon and berry underneath. Some dank pine notes underneath, but ultimately finish is clean and relatively dry with a mild to moderate bitterness.

Feel: Medium-bodied. Moderate cabonation. Finishes with a pine astringency, but relatively clean and dry overall. (4.00)

Compared to Surly's Havoc Machine IPA 7/26/21: Pours a hazier, but similar color. Milder aromas. More juicy aromas. Less dank tropical, caramel, and pine notes. Smoother and lighter with less bitterness.

Overall: A pretty good West-coast IPA for 6.4%. Of course, leans on the lighter side. It has great orange, grapefruit, and dank tropical fruit flavors, all while finishing relatively dry and clean. A pretty good and flavorful IPA for the milder ABV, which is nice for a change. Drinks quite well. (Final Rating: 3.92)
