“Nah” is a refreshing non-alcoholic version of a true-to-style Münich Helles, brewed with 100% German-grown malt and hops. “Nah” features a bready malt flavor and a mild hoppiness with notes of ripe melon and bright berry.

12 oz can.
Ice cold and flat. Not much carbonation. Has a very light malt aroma. The taste is very thin and lightly sour. It doesn't really have a mouthfeel. It's very easy to find a much better option for a low alcohol beer.

Can. White head. Straw yellow color. Lace.

Very light compared to other NAs. Still has a German lager flavor. Crisp and clean. Bready, biscuity, light earthy bitterness.

Appearance: Pours a slightly clouded (25% opacity), deep orange color, with a strong, but crispy white head that fades quickly. SRM of 9-10. (3.75)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of grains upfront. There is grains, corn, followed by a yeasty aroma. Then there's some bready malts underneath while some orchard fruit and berry aromas come forth through the end. (3.75)

Flavor: The flavor follows with some grains upfront. This quickly follow into a fruity yeast profile. Apple, berry, orchardfruit. Then it follows with a crisp and drying yeast and dry grain malt profile. Clean and crsip. Dry finish.

Feel: Medium to light bodied. Strong carbonation. Yeasty leaves a crisp but carbonated finish. (4.25)

Overall: This is a nice representation of a non-alcoholic helles. Looks, smells, and tastes nice. The body is lighter than I expected, but the carbonation is strong and gives it a full mouthfeel. Has a pleasant apple and berry fruity flavor too. The mouthfeel is excellent. For no alcohol and only 40 cal a beer, I enjoyed this one. Sort of reminds me of drinking Kombucha. (Final Rating: 3.80)

Appearance
Can dated 02/12/2021. "Contains Sulfites" - good idea, probably helped keep it shelf-stable.
Thick 3 finger head with increasingly enlarging bubbles, kind of sudsy. Gold-yellow and very slightly hazy. Head retention and lacing are just like real beer.

Aroma
Grainy, crackery and slightly of herbal, spicy noble hops. Smells like a very light version of Helles.

Flavor
Bread and crackers, Nice soft noble hop bitterness and subtle noble hop flavors. There is a slight cooked cereal flavor in the finish found in many pale lager NAs but it is not as strong and cloying and the other flavors are there to make up for it.

Mouthfeel
Very light and watery, good CO2 amount. Mineral water "pucker" but that is common for dealcoholized beers--hard to get around that.

Overall
I would not exactly mistake this for a proper Munich Helles Lager. But I would be happy to have this available everywhere. It is crisp, tasty and as true to style as you can get under the circumstances. My understanding is that Bauhaus took their regular Helles recipe and subjected it to a machine sold by a local manufacturer that separates alcohol and water from the beer.

P.S. The brew was 4 months old, delivered at ambient temperature and it did not taste or smell stale. The sulfites added were likely the reason. I could not taste any chemicals in the beverage, so no worries unless you are sensitive.
P.P.S. It is available for online ordering to be shipped to you just about anywhere.
